Original quilt pattern design by Lindlee Smith of Plains and Pine. This design is a variation on the classic Lone Star Quilt and is a simplified version of the Big Sky Star Quilt. Skill Level: Confident Beginner. This is a good quilt pattern for someone who has made 1 or 2 quilts and wants to move on to cutting and sewing on a bias. This pattern requires beginner quilting knowledge. The pattern assumes quilter has knowledge of basic piecing and can sew with a consistent 1/4″ seam. Includes instructions for Baby, Throw, and Bed sizes as square sizes, as well as instructions and fabric requirements to add optional borders. The pattern includes 5 color version options with fabric requirements, instructions, and examples for each version. There are no Y seams in this quilt pattern.
